The Bamboo Cap with Removable Hair Extension – Lena is another Jas Fashion special design based on our customers' requests and feedback. It is made for women with no hair due to medical conditions such as alopecia or chemotherapy treatments.
Bamboo Cap with Removable Hair Extension – Lena comes with two parts: a bamboo hat liner and a premium hair extension.
The hair is so silky and smooth. Touching the hair will remind you of the healthiest hair which you had when you are in the prime of your age. The thick and soft hair extension can be removed from the bamboo cap when you would like to wash either part of the set.
Unlike a full wig, which might be too hot or scratchy on your scalp, the bamboo cap cradles your head with comfort. The bamboo cap is made of bamboo viscose – the most friendly fabric for human skin – breathable, soft and anti-bacterial.
*By default, the bamboo cap will fit head sizes between 53-57cm comfortably and securely.
If your head size is smaller than 53cm or larger than 57cm, please send us a request when you place your order, so that we can customize the bamboo cap size for you.
The hair extension is about 35cm long by default. This gives you the option to cut it to a shorter style as per your styling needs.
As per some of the illustrations shown, the Bamboo Cap with Removable Hair Extension – Lena works extremely well with our stretchable beanies, turbans or caps, which are sold separately in our online store.
Wear the Bamboo Cap with Removable Hair Extension – Lena with one of our cotton stretchable beanies in the summertime or a knit beanie in the wintertime. We recommend this item for all seasons.
For women with hair, you can also stick the hair extension straight onto a knit beanie on a bad hair day.

How to Separate the Hat and the Hair:
- Do not separate the bamboo cap and the hair extension unless it is absolutely necessary, such as you need to wash them.
- If you need to wash them, separate the hair and the cap by holding the soft side of the Velcro (on the cap) and pull the hair extension off by holding the male side (on the hair side).
- Immediately cover the male side with a strip cut from an old towel. This will prevent hair from getting stuck onto the Velcro.
How to Put the Cap and the Hair Extension Together
- Fold the cap in half, so that you can find the middle of the Velcro (female, soft side).
- Fold the hair extension in half so that you can find the middle of the Velcro (male, hook side).
- Start to work from the centre by pressing both sides together. Slowly compress the two Velcro pieces together inch by inch so that you can achieve an even look on both sides.
How to Brush the Hair:
Always brush the hair by holding the top end of it to avoid pulling it off the base. If the hair is severely tangled, hair conditioner may help.
To brush knots out, start from the bottom and work your way up to the top.
How to Wash the Hair Extension:
Tie the hair into a ponytail to avoid it tangling.
Soak it in cold water with a small amount of shampoo.
Massage the hair, and rinse thoroughly. Squeeze the water out of it and add hair conditioner if the hair is tangled.
Lay the hair flat on a towel and dry in the shade. Or you can use a coat hanger with clips to hang the hair up. Only brush the hair after it is totally dry.
Blow-dry and curling can only be done under 180°C degrees.
How to Wash the Bamboo Liner:
Handwash the bamboo liner in cold or lukewarm water. Reshape it and dry it flat in the shade.
